. . . It's The Last Time
Labor Day. The last day the pool is open.
Labor Day is early this year - September 1 instead of the 6th. Our pool closes its doors on Labor Day for the season.
We have always felt that it was too early. As we get older, it seems so even more.
As we headed out to the pool this morning, I tell the wife I was 'thinking' about taking the bike. She said go ahead, it's the last day.
I told her no, I could ride well into October.
"Last time you can ride the bike to the pool this year," she said.
She's right.
So I did.
