When I was was about 10 years old or so, a friend of my father was killed in a single car crash. The car he was driving hit a concrete bridge abutment at about 90 MPH. My dad went to see the car at the junk yard and I went with him. I remember looking at that and seeing the engine almost in the rear seat.
The car was a '59 Chevy (2 door).
Watching this brought back that memory. The results of this looks amazingly like the the results of my dad's friends accident.
I'm sorry to see the old gal sacrificed here - we need to restore, not crush - these old cars. Perhaps someone will take mercy on this old Bel Air.
