Jeff Dunham and the gang
For Christmas '08, my son ordered the three of us tickets for a live performance to one of his favorite entertainers - Jeff Dunham - at the Patriot center in Fairfax, VA.
If you're not familiar with Dunham, check out some his acts on YouTube here:

We were a bit concerned about paying to watch a possible repeat of what we can already see on TV for free - but the live show was better than we expected. The segments with the different characters in the act lasted longer than they have on TV, and the language, while not too graphic, often slips into an 'R" rating.
One of the highlights of the show was the bit where Dunham's older character 'Bubba J" answered questions about his life. This skit is so well known that the audience shouted out the punch lines before Bubba could - reminiscent of a Garth Brooks concert.
Another was the skit involving Achmed the dead terrorist. His version of "Jingle Bombs', though also familiar with the audience, kept it in stitches.
Thanks, Jeremy, for a great Christmas gift.
I'm still waiting on that '55 Bel Air though.
